We are pretty much forced into believing product labels and what companies say about themselves. Not always due to ill-meaning shadow overlords, but usually because we, as individual humans, cannot process the amount of information required to fully understand the best courses of action - every single day. Our only hope is to work together, remotely and IRL.
If you'd like to play scientist, then you can say "I want a nice cold glass of Dihydrogen Monoxide." There are so many chemicals in existence that real scientists have to use such fancy terms in both chemistry and biology for example. The problem is that most people are not scientists, and no individual on earth knows how every chemical plays a role in our ecosystem. In order to know which trash bag is truly better than another trash bag, you need a chemist, a biologist, and an honest business person. Without these three things, one does not simply know what is best.
Greenest Inc is a non-profit that is dedicated to the development of www.greentool.org for the reasons mentioned above. Whether you hold a PhD in biology or have any skill and a dollop of free time, please join fellow humans in tackling the world's biggest puzzle. We are making the challenge possible by breaking it down into specific volunteer positions at www.greentool.org/careers/all . We'll be working on it so just come on in.
All profits from this website are donated to the development of www.greentool.org . The bigger project to help us all be our greenest.
